Pretty stoked today (though my wife is not ๐)!
Got the call for the Omega Speedmaster Moonshine Gold with the green dial and fully gold bracelet.
Didn't expect this one this early in the year...but I am not going to refuse it.
This clearly blows up my "No watches in 2023 resolution"...so now that that's blown...let's see what else comes my way...maybe a VC 222 before the end of the year? (wishful thinking)
Another one off the Watch Wall of Dreams...

Thanks! I agree - can't wait to see it in the metal.
Wow! That is a true beautiful watch. I was right that your wish wall soon sits in your watch box. One down.

If you are too right, that could be very dangerous to my bank account ๐
Congrats dude!! If you want to let go some of your Omega speedy pro with sapphire sandwich let me know ๐โฆ cuz you need room for this Big Boy!!
Gorgeous!!
I can't wait to see the wrist shot. I am sure the green is going to pop with that gold.
Serious question, you are one of those rare quality and quantity collectors (I am more of a quantity guy), how you wear your most beloved watches enough? I struggle with this and I have many fewer watches than you. I know that some of your collection is for historical interest. But, you have some grails that would be worn regularly by folks with a five or ten watch collection. I figure that you must have an organizing principle.
That thing is incredible.
This could be one of the nicest watches ever. Congrats on such a beautiful piece.

I am also curious about this too.

Thanks for the kind words.

I might have figured.
Picked it up tonight!
Here's the wrist shot from the Omega boutique...better one to come on Tuesday next week...
Also, Watch Crew dinner from tonight...
Congrats on this absolutely beautiful Speedmaster. Thereโs something about the weight of gold that just spoils other watches ๐ค Does the clasp also have the new fine adjustment or did Omega spare the gold bracelets?
I like this shade of gold because it can actually look like normal steel and doesnโt โscreamโ that itโs gold. The price tag is another topic, but we all have different resources. Enjoy!

I agree the color of the gold matched with that British Racing Green entranced me the first time I laid eyes on it. We were talking last night about how its not the "old man" yellow gold but a more steel like vibrant gold.
I feel blessed to get to wear it.
That's gorgeous. And I don't wear gold watches.
Fantastic! I'm glad you bagged one.
I got a call from the London boutique mid Feb, three days after doing my brains on a Rolex GMT and a vintage Speedy! Painfully, I had to let it pass.
Enjoy yours, it's a absolute stunner. ๐ป

That's always the worry isn't it...you'll get the call right after you empty the bank account for another grail watch.
Congrats on the Rolex GMT and vintage Speedy...those sound like awesome acquisitions.
Thanks, they are beauties. Timing was not on my side this time. I'm hoping on the next round I'll be ready!
It looks far more stunning in your pics than online.
Enjoy yours in good health. ๐ป
I'm not typically a fan of gold watches, but this is gorgeous! Congrats
Very happy for you. What a stunner of a watch!!!
