Am I the only one who is not a fan of these watches? Even if it cost $1,000 I would not even buy this. What do you think

The Rock has the money to color coordinate expensive watches to his outfits so he probably just picked it as a fashion choice. Still a well respected quality brand.

I love the Octo Finissimo thats the only Bvlgari i would wear

It is one of these watches that I like but they’d look like crap on my wrist.

I like the sketch one the most. I would be interesting to try one on. It seems unlikely that it would fit me tho

I really like the design color and movement. I would probably break it in about a couple of hours. Part of the reason my collection is evolving and moving up market, is I need to wear watches I won't be afraid to rough up a little. WR, antimagnetism, close encounters with steel, rocks, abrasives and constant vibration or shock.

No, these are serious high end pieces. Bulgaria went on a record breaking run with these and started taking down some serious records.

i am a fan of the octo roma but this one not really. Tried both on and must admit that their bracelets are top notch

Love this watch. Just when I had about written Bulgari off.

Honestly I love the look and concept of the watch it’s beautiful in my eyes but after trying it on it just doesn’t do anything for me. The way it sits on my wrist on the bracelet is a little awkward. I’ll continue to admire form afar lol

I’ve held one and seen one,my big regret is not buying it then in 2019….it is a superb timepiece honestly.

Fun fact. The Rock has a wardrobe stylist. Her name is Ilaria Urbinati. I know this because Ilaria is my former boss. I worked as her stylist assistant a few years ago. While The Rock does have the money to afford expensive timepieces and clothing, for events such as the Oscars much of what the stars wear is gifted to them by the brands. While it may not be to the person's taste, no one is going to turn down free stuff.

Bulgari = Vulgari for me

I was never a fan until I tried on the Finissimo. Then I clicked with it. I don’t have the money for a Finissimo but I managed to work out a deal on a Solotempo. I love it.

This watch wears 2-3 mm larger . If it was 38 and wore like 40 that would be perfect

The limited ones are insane. That one on the Rock would be my pick honestly!

I think they look great and I’ve listened to the superlative podcast with Ariel Adams and they did a feature with the head designer of the brand. Worth a listen.

If you ever get a chance to wear one of these, they wear very much like older watches in the 2000s - visually. Especially Panarai. There is a sense of large masculine Italian ethos in the design. I think these watches are a modern reincarnation of the chunky look from the 2000s without the thickness. Honestly, it makes sense on the rest of the Rock and Sylvester Stallone - these guys are the archetype of the old school Panarai wearers
