Probably just that my eyes need recalibrating. My main watch is a Seamaster AT 41mm, so I’m probably just used to that size.

I’ve gathered that field watches are generally more on the small side, so maybe that’s a good thing.
It feels great on the wrist (although not sized yet - in case of return). 11mm thick and should come in under 140g once sized.

Edit: I'm sorry what? Are we debating the size of a 38.5mm case? I have an 8" wrist and wear 39.5mm watches regularly. On a 6 and 7/8th inch wrist, this question shouldn't even apply. It fits.

Smaller watchers are finally trending back and in my opinion thank god. I have a 6.5 wrist and think 34-38 is the perfect size range

You could go bigger if you really wanted to, but I think it looks great! After a few days your eyes will adjust to it and you won't think it looks too small. Works the other way too when you go to a larger watch. Your brain likes what it's used to seeing 😉
