Unless I'm going to a formal or professional setting, I typically dress pretty casually and wear a watch that either compliments or clashes with the colors I have on. Say I have a black t-shirt and blue jeans on. I'll either wear a bright, colorful watch to clash or a simple, dark watch to tie it all together. It depends on how I'm feeling, mostly.

It depends on the vibe you're going for, tbh. Rubber straps/steel bracelets make a sports watch look as they were intended: sporty. Like a watch that can be worn while you're out with your boys just goofin' around. Or, inversely, throw a leather strap on it and suddenly it looks much more classy. The kinda watch you'd wear out to a nice dinner. It's all about matching the situations you expect to be in throughout the day.

Yeah, Rolex's AD's are like that basically anywhere you look. Either they have them in stock but you have to "wait" for whatever nonsensical reason they give you, or they say what they told you. Personally, I think you should stick to looking for secondhand dealers. AD's are terrible.
