This YouTube guy crossed the line
Last week, YouTube started recommending this guy to me.
I watched a couple of videos by him, nothing special. However, he said some really mean things to owners of the Rolex Explorer. Something about us being “mere peasants who can’t afford a better Rolex”
That was meh, then he said “I didn’t even graduate 11th grade”. I was like: “Oh good for him”
Then today I saw this:
“You are trash if you don’t own a Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar”
and this:
“I don’t care if you wear a $10 million Pateks minute repeaters, and nonesense. That stuff is all just frivolous ”
This is basically saying:
The guy who drives slower than him is an idiot
The guy who drives faster than him is a maniac
Tell me what you think.

Thumbs down will probably get it recommended more. The algorithm thrives on conflict and engagement. YouTube doesn't care if a video is bad or misleading; it only cares about engagement. You'll help a creator by hitting the thumbs down.
