What would you choose and why? 16750 or 16570?

I think I'd take the 16570 because of usefulness and less risk of "permanent" damage, but, 16750... Faded bezels in a couple of years... What a conundrum!

16750 is the GMT and 16570 is the explorer or white dial as you say

·

The GMT Master is a sick watch, I want one from the 80s, so I'd probably go with that one, however it's a tough choice

·

Explorer for me. Just have always loved that watch. Especially the white dial 👍

The polar is a classic

I'd love one but id also like to have every bezel option just to have more range and maybe even the modern color ways like batman, root beer and sprite but in aluminum just to see how they would react to aging.

The Pepsi screams for attention, while the white watch is a lot more under the radar. Therefore, if I had to choose, I would choose the white watch.

·

I love the Polar. Very versitile and will always look great!

·

I’d go for a Batman over a Ex-II but the Ex-II over the Pepsi. The Pepsi is just too flashy

·

I like the white dial better. Resale on the Pepsi is probably a better option.

·

Explorer II all the way for the win.

I've never liked the too-colorful for me bezel on the GMT Master. And the Explorer II, (again, for ME) is just a great-looking watch.

·

I went with the polar due to the fact that it flys under the radar. Plus the balance of white dial and brushed steel bezel is 👌🏼

I'm a firm believer that if you as a person (not talking about you specifically, obviously) don't stand out naturally then nothing you put one will make you stand out.

What if money wasn't an issue?

·

White Explorer II

·

Oh I get it. I'm just playing around, I can't afford any of this lol

Hate me all you want but I’m not a Pepsi guy. Explorer all the way

Sometimes less is more am I right?

·

16570

·

No real logic to back it up, but to me the Explorer II is a watch guy’s watch and the GMT Master is a Rolex guy’s watch.

·

A 6 digit!

·

If I get a Rolex, I want a Pepsi. Which means I'll never get a Rolex. The Explorer II never did anything for me. It's cold, sterile, and dull. And the bezel doesn't rotate. I've discovered that a rotating bezel on a GMT is very useful. I have a callers GMT with rotating bezel, and travelers GMT without, so if I get another GMT, it's going to be a travelers GMT with rotating 24 hour bezel.

Pepsi for me

·

16570 all day ….

·

This may come as controversial but I don't regard the black dial as just "Pepsi" but "Pepsi Max". The real "Pepsi" is the one with the blue dial 😜 but I digress... as lot Crunchers have already said I would go for E2 as a daily and PM if you were to travel frequently requiring frequent time adjustments 😊

·

Pepsi, not even close.

·

POLAR

·

Polar for me.

·

16750, a timeless classic!

·

I'd take the explorer, it's low key and I prefer the white dial.

However, I do agree with how cool the 16750 with patina looks.

·

I might be a little bit biased, but I would choose the 16750 or 16700 all day long. It's a classic, it wears great, the size is perfect (for me) and it is super comfortable. That's the watch my dad used to wear and the reason why I was so obsessed with getting a Pepsi.
