I will not mention this to 90% of my friends because watches simply aren't this thing you can show others unless you know they'll be happy for you. So #max thanks for creating this platform.
Now about the watch experience I have to say, I had fallen in love with the watch, but there is something special about having to wait for a watch and having your AD get it specifically for you.
My AD is a family run business with genuine and super friendly people and the whole process of going there, building a relationship with them, waiting for months for what you want. It's special.
I know some people find it super annoying and I have to admit if you go to a big Rolex AD who could care less about you or your business obviously the wait list just seems like a pretentious and despicable experience.
But go find a family run AD in a not so rich/populated area and maybe you'll really enjoy the waiting, the building of the relationship and the reward of getting a call, an email or a surprise when you show up.
That’s a great gift to get! It’s a fine looking watch. I wasn’t so sure when they released it. But I’ve got to see one in the flesh and the Rolex website and photos don’t do it justice. It’s a great looking watch
Killer GMT!!! So happy for you!! I couldn’t agree more with you about creating a relationship with a well run small local family jeweler. I love my Rolex AD even if I do need to wait a bit longer for a new piece. (Only thing I don’t like is the diminutive allocations of desirable models because of the smaller market). But at the same time, I don’t want to be competing with the billionaires in the major cities.

Oh forget about it. Photos are not even close to how stunning this watch looks.
I was absolutely in awe the first time I saw it. It made the batman look meh relative to this one.
