Traska. The hardness coating alone. Great, well executed designs.

·

Going with Traska here because of their commuter, gives a great upmarket feel and design without the price tag

·

Kurono Tokyo hands down. Nothing competes with Hajime Sensei!

My colleague has a kurono and its pretty but I’m not impressed with the price they ask. Traska for me. Their designs are clean and doesnt rely on designer repution to boost their cache. Sorry if I sound like a broken record but its still a price:value ratio for me. Traska offers much more for me.

·

Traska for me because of Summiteer ... ✅ ⛰️

·

This is tough round. Kurono Tokyo wins design award here. But I'm still voting Traska for it's overall brand experience. Fit, finish and value. Traska is just solid.

·

Traska solid. Machine made and extra hardened.

Kurono is hand made artistry. So, 2 very different design goals.

The later is getting rare and usually priced exorbitantly in this day and age. But at ~3k for a hand made urushi dial? Its value.

Kudos for Kurono still keeping ancient traditions alive.

Aside - this is my only vote today that seems to be winning 😂

·

Kurono. They’re not really my thing, but the COO at my company rocks pretty much nothing else!

He wants a Grand Seiko, but won’t justify the money. In the time I’ve known him, a time only Kurono and their GMT - now that we’re in the US - are his two trusty watches from the brand. Otherwise it’s a Seiko Ginza.

He’s a very smart man. They’re very nice watches. That’s done it for me!

Definitely want to get hands on with a Traska to see the hardness coating thing in person.

·

Traska for me as I looked into their watches much more and could better connect.

·

Voting for Traska, great designs and value for money, Kurono have great watches too but very expensive

Might need my eyes checked because this is a Vs. I just don't see the other side in, again again 😅

·

I’m bias because I’m a big fan of #traska so yes, in this round, #traska wins

·

Fascinating that Kurono is a fan favorite despite extreme limited supply and nothing in stock - which was a negative for some other brands. 🤔

·

Kurono.

·

Voted Traska here due to it being a brand doing most things very well, offering great designs and colorways, solid pricepoints and utilizing great hardening tech (best I have experienced). Kurono is so up market and more niche in terms of ownership, that while making exceptional watches, tiers above Traska, it's accessibility limits my ability to give it my vote.

I think it does help that you CAN secure a Kurono if you play by their rules and sales windows though. So while very limited, it's not terribly hard technically if you pay attention and set a reminder on your phone. And they've since changed some of their sales practices so that they will fulfill (at least for some models) any orders within a sales window vs. having a set limited supply.

·

Kurono wins on an artistic level sure, but for a useable and very wearable watch that’s tough beyond belief while also being able to be dressed up…Traska is the choice here!

·

So far so good for Kurono. Traska fans not turning out??

·

Could #kuronotokyo be the sleeper winner this year ! I wouldn’t rule them out guys

·

Everything is sold out and you find the prices faster on Chrono24 than on proprietary site. But i love the pictures. 😂
