Is there a winter watch?

Everyone is talking about summer watches when the certain time approaches. But is there actually a good winter watch? A fellow for those warm Christmas market walks, for sitting in front of a crackling fire and enjoying a warm drink?

The Zulutime with the green bezel and the brown leather strap is a beautiful winter watch.

Been eyeing a Seiko Sharp-edge in white. Not because white = snow, but because where I live, Winter = Darkness.

Either that or a Seiko Alpinist with a green dial~

+1 Seiko Alpinist, green dial and chocolate brown leather strap.

Nothing on a metal bracelet if your climate turns into a frozen hellscape - too cold.

Oddly I go more tones or colors- gold, rose gold cases (and now bronze) in the fall/winter due to my fashion sense (more boots, longer sleeves, sweaters and leathers here in CA) as opposed to warmer short sleeved beachy fare: good for divers and silicone rubber strap watches.

This Tudor BB58 bronze is indeed a very nice winter watch

I like to switch out my metal bracelets for leather straps in the winter. I just don’t like the feeling of cold metal on those wintry mornings

I Didn't intend it to be, but my AT felt a little "heavy" in the summer months... so fall/winter watch it is!

I would suggest something with a warm feel. Bronze works for me.

you seen Tudor blue, black, never seen brown one until you show it. nice watch

This one for me. First, it's rather large for my chicken wrist, so sweaters and whatnot nide that size issue. Second, the bund is intended to keep the cold metal from the skin in the cold. Third, that bund with the engraving on the underside is a LE piece and summer heat and moist would totally ruin it. So there you have it ))

GS Slgh005, with a strong inspired winter design language from nature that is also backed by 2 consecutive years for the GPHG award, definitely qualifies as a winter watch.

Since it’s cold here in the winter I end up wearing more formal wool suits to stay warm. Hence, I end up wearing dress watches on a leather band—and the divers and colorful watches on NATO bands hibernate in the watch box. And then in March I get my motorcycles serviced and the cycle starts again.

I think a two tone watch is good for winter, gives a nice pop of colour when needed.

How about the Tudor black bay pro or a the 556 from Sinn for an outdoorsy esthetic

I always see my LE alpinist as my winter watch
