I didn’t include it here, but I have my beloved calculator watch for days when I’m afraid to wear something expensive. I think it would be nice to have a fun mechanical watch I’m not afraid to beat up, though, just like you said
It shows am/pm for the 24hr hand (the small pointy arrow one). It’s great for setting the date/time, but mostly I just like the way the blue goes with the red and yellow hands :)
I like to switch out my metal bracelets for leather straps in the winter. I just don’t like the feeling of cold metal on those wintry mornings
I think I’m going through the same thing. I recently bought and speedy triple date, and have lost interest now that I have complete collection (dress watch + diver + now a chrono)
