What Watch Group would you represent?

Crunchers there are a handful of Watch Groups that own a lot of our favorite brands. Let's propose you had to pick one group to wear for the rest of your life which group would you represent and why? I put 4 large groups in the poll but you can pick another group and put it in the comments. Swatch Group owns Omega, Glashutte Original, Swatch, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, Mido, Blanpain, Breguet, Rado, Jaquet Droz and 7 more. Richemont Group owns Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange & Sohne, Jaeger LeCoultre, Piaget, IWC, Panerai, Cartier, Montblanc, Piaget, Baume & Mercier and 3 others. Seiko Group owns Seiko, Grand Seiko, Credor, Lorus, Alba and Orient. Rolex Owns Rolex and Tudor. Not really group but a major player. Casio Owns Casio and G-Shock. Not a group but who doesn't love Casio. And then there's LVMH with Bulgari, Hublot, TagHeuer, Zenith, Louis Vuitton and a few others. Other group choices Fossil, Timex, Citizen and Modado. Let's throw AliExpress in the mix for fun. The photo is off the web.

I voted for Seiko although Citizen is closing in on my small collection (4 to 3 right now)

Team Casio

·

went Swatch because of the vast amount of options

Great choice. Seiko has everything you need from everyday to high end watches. 🤝

I’m with you on that one. They have it all. 💯

·

If I had the cheddar then swatch group, all I can afford is casio😄

I do love casio so thats cool.

·

None. Too many misses in every catalog and too many great watches in all of them for me to rep just one.

·

I hate to admit it, but Rolex. I wear a Rolex. Plus, they have the most attractive watches, brand, history, prestige and resale of any group listed above, in my opinion. No they’re not perfect. No, you probably won’t get a Submariner or Daytona at retail anytime soon. Yes, Rolex is more of a brand than a watchmaker. But if I can only buy and wear one brand it’ll be Rolex and Tudor.

Vacheron, ALS, Cartier and JLC in one basket doesn't leave me any wriggle room.

Bro this is post. 😂 Pick the swatch group. Roll with Casio for now. It’s solid. Once you start making a little extra cheese for your watch habit. You’ll know where to put it.

I feel you but it’s just for fun.

I’m down with Rolex. I wear one to. I also have a thing for GO and JLC. But that 3 groups. 🤝

Thanks for the chart.

There’s nothing wrong with that Group. That’s a very solid choice. JLC, ALS and VC makes it really hard to say to next. 🔥

These 4 are not good enough for me to take one, even if I like my Seiko and Swatch group watches a lot.

Seiko - Swatch Group and other stuff has far better quality for the same money.

Swatch group - Better than Seiko, but decent options start at a higher price than Seiko. Also still better alternatives elsewhere.

Rolex and Richemont - Expensive

As for what I would put myself with, there are 2:

Casio

Various Chinese watch brands

·

In this scenario and as a broke watch nerd, for me the richemont group. The amount of candy varied in different styles (sports, dress, rugged etc etc) yeah for sure. You get a lot of the grail brands in VC and ALS, JLC, Roger Dubuis and the sporty IWC and panerai (although not my cup of tea because again im poor and i have lady wrists at 6.34inc). If dreams were possible, that for sure

Rolex.

I'm shallow)))

But honest. Kudos for that

·

Gotta choose the Seiko since most of my collection are either from Seiko group or Casios

·

Only Swatch and Seiko for me. None of the others float my boat!

·

Seiko for me because their case designs are much better than others. Swiss watches might look good in photos but my Seiko looks good on my 6.75in wrist.

Shallows ok. You don’t have to dig to deep. 😂 Rolex is a solid pick. You could wear a Sub as your beater. That’s not shallow that’s bad ass.

"Oh, this little thingy? Yeah, it's just the watch I wear while running errands and going on hikes, nothing fancy"

LMAO.

I'm not really into Rolex Sub, but I would love to own a Tudor Sub at some point)

·

If money was no object, I'd say Richemont group. Could easily be happy with an IWC, Lange, AND Vacheron in my collection. Since money is an object and I might never be able to afford one VC or Lange, I would probably go with Swatch group.

You’ll get one. I know it.

A man who know what he likes. That’s solid 🔥

The Richemont Group has a lot going on and even more grails. Solid pick

Hey, an out of the box question deserves an equally different answer 👍🏾👍🏾😁

Well played!

Going Seiko, to work with my bros at grand seiko.

I wouldn’t expect anything less. I appreciate guys who wear Rolex, GS, JLC as their beaters or G-shocks. It’s all about the wearing experience. 🤝

·

Richemont is so impressive they own Piaget twice😂

I know right. That’s commitment!

·

So I looked at the watches I voted on with my bank account...

Guess what?

All are Richemont Group...so I guess I have to select them.
