The “Griffey” by ARMITRON
I present to you, the Griffey! I wanted this for awhile now, but was waiting for it to be on sale. I was worried it would be too small (37mm width), but I must say, it fits perfect on my 7 inch wrist! (Because of the lug to lug). The case is Steele, so the watch does not feel cheap. I am happy about that. The bracelet is janky, but it is a slider and was easy to adjust. Thankfully, it feels great on the wrist. I went with the blue LED numbers, even though I don’t think that was an option back in the day, only red. I went with blue, because that was the model on sale. You have to push the top pusher for the Time to show up. LED does not show up well in photographs, but looks fantastic in person. As a bonus, my wife really likes this one. Definitely a keeper. I wanted the Hamilton LED watch that looks like this, but that one is $700, which is a bit steep for a retro, digital watch. But I am stoked for this one.

I am still trying to figure out why the Hamilton is so much!? You are right, the Griffey is a little bit more refined in the style department.

Yep. I realized that it isn’t Always about the millimeter size, but the design, the length, and how the shape and how it sits on your wrist. The key is, physically trying on watches.

I actually didn't...I should've in hindsight, but my wife had surgery this past month and the credit card bill is already bad enough.
