Spring is in the air! Bulova “Surveyor”
My wife gifted me this eye catcher for my birthday. I noticed as I was putting it into one of my watch boxes, that this is my fifth Bulova! I must be a fan. I love this color paired with this strap. Definitely will be on my wrist a lot through April, and May. 39mm, 20 mm lug width, solid Miyota movement. Looks good on my 7 inch wrist..I have to measure the lug to lug..cools be a tad too long??

Bulova is the duality of watch brands, they can make Invicta looking watches, and they can also make stuff like the oceanographer, the lunar pilot, jet star and this. Do they have 2 design teams? 🤣
Wow I love that dial, I’m a huge Bulova fan I own 3 of their watches. Love the history they have and wish they were still American made. Enjoy it, it’s a beauty and you have a great wife!
Huh! It’s like a flipped Rolex: the “fluting” (is that even a word?) is on the dial and the bezel is smooth and shiny!

I 100% agree! I should have clarified that the Bulova watches I am a fan of are the vintage re-issued. I have the “surfboard”, “jetstar”, “arreostar”, the Sinatra “fly me to the moon (cream dial)” and now the “surveyo”…but yes the devil diver oceanographer, and the new oceanographer GMT are in my sites as well. Along with the Sinatra “summer wind”… that watch is gorgeous in the metal. I also like the mil-ship…the watch looks fantastic, but that strap is only 16mm or something like that..which felt odd to me.

It’s an Amazon Norween leather that I cut off the cross stitching and replaced it with color matching thread I found on the rack at WalMart. I just held the watch up to the thread display and found the closest match. The strap was $23 and the thread was $3. I think it turned out ok.
