Time for some orange. But how much?
I've had an Skx013 with a steel bezel on a orange rubber strap back then. I sold it and I miss the colour orange. So I was thinking about several options.
I really want to have an orange rubber strap. I think it is just a cool and fun strap. Because I've already had a black dial watch on an orange rubber strap I'm thinking about going complete orange. But that might be a little bit too much. Maybe one of you has an skx011 with an orange strap and can give some advice.
An argument for an colourful dial is that my collection right now has white, grey, and dark blue dial watches. So some colour would be fun. But I haven't got a black dial either. But the next big watch goal is a pilots watch. I'm thinking about the Hanhart 417 and the Laco Baumuster B. But I want to buy one of those watches to a special occasion in the future to reward myself. And that will be in arround 2-3 years. So there will be a black dial watch sooner or later for sure. And a orange dial would be sth completely different. And I like being different. I'm also a big fan of the colour orange. So maybe all the orange is just enough.

A Doxa would be the perfect way to get an orange watch.

This is the Islander fitted FKM strap. It is absolutely excellent. Perfect fit, the orange matches the 011, and very comfortable as it’s not too thick and the FKM is very pliable. Two millimeter taper. Came with both metal and rubber keepers, I prefer the rubber. Marc did a great job speccing this out.

Felt just right for summer. Not any crazier than a colorful G-Shock or similar.
I have the NOMOS Club Campus Future Orange and I love it. It's one of the few watches that almost always receives compliments from non watch people. I previously had an Seiko Samurai in orange. I didn't love how the Samurai wore, and in orange it really stood out. I worried that the Doxa would be similar.
I'm assuming you be replacing the bezel with an orange one? If that's the case I think the blue dial, of the 009, will look good with an orange bezel and strap.
The Seiko options aren’t bad. Check out the Tag Heuer Aquaracer and Breitling Superocean. Both have great orange dials.

I love orange. Great wrist shot of the orange SKX. The only way that photo could be improved is if you painted your arm orange too.

I was never a huge SKX fan but I always liked the seldom seen orange SKX. Now I have the newer Seiko 5 orange SRPD59. I really like it, but there definitely is something about that shade of orange Doxa uses/has created.

It is a cute little wolf, thanks! The bracelet is much like a Jubilee, but titanium so not shiny.
