I don't like black dials, especially for non-sporty stuff, but you should investigate getting some suits.

I own this, because it's stunning, because I spied it at a great sale price, and because owning it means I have my 'black tie' watch needs squared away. Can't tell you how well I sleep having that off my mind. It's also really slim and comfortable. The crown is a little small/hard to engage but that may just be the lack of use due to lack of opportunities I've had to wear it. But its a beauty, and makes me smile every time I take it out of the box (even just to wind and admire it).

I’ve been eying this piece for a bit. Has a very similar look.

I have Longines Flagship Heritage but with a cream dial version. Wonderful watch, more on a dressy side, but still fully capable of casual wear. I have mine for over 7 years now. Highly recommended.

Had one in cream dial version but sold it after couple of years as I had too many dress watches and favoured those more. Still great and good looking watch, only issue I had was poor quality aligator strap.

For me it was between this, the sector dial, and the silver arrow for a dress watch. I ended up with the silver arrow but I can see myself saying a i need a black dress watch too

I really like the Master Collection and Flagship from Longines. The new Flagship moon phase is sweet as well.

It is amazing how true this is to the early versions. If you’re interested, look up the flagship model on eBay and see the older one.

Funny, I usually steer clear of black dials. I have no logical reason as to why, I just do. I also love the light-colored stitching on the strap. I'm a big fan of that. But this watch? This watch could convert me. Beautiful!
