I think dark dials attract me more, as they are usually more stealth if you get what I mean. When wearing a light colored watch, it attracts much more attention than all my other darker watches. And especially when I'm in the office, I don't necessarily want people to stare at my wrist. I had the white dial IWC Mark XVIII that I gave to my SO as its the only watch from my collection that she'd wear size-wise. So in case I need or want to wear a light and bright watch, there's still that IWC 😊

Great collection my friend, I too also gravitate to the dark dials, I have thought about creating a collection of light dials for summer and have a summer watch collection and winter collection 😂

How did you come to decide the Tudor wasn't for you?

Good idea, but I'm pretty sure this won't work out. Imagine buying a watch that you put away for ~6 months per year. At least I couldn't resist the temptation to wear it nonetheless and make it one single coherent collection again :D

I didn't wear it often (enough) and I'm not even sure why that was. I think it was just too top-heavy. The bracelet was good but very solid and heavy and the watch felt like a brick on the wrist. Eventually a friend of mine offered me his Navitimer B01 (that you can see in the photo) and we made an exchange. You now may think "Wait, the Navitimer is even heavier than the BB GMT" and you're probably right, but with the leather strap it sits quite tight and the weight spreads evenly across the 46mm wide surface. It actually feels lighter than the BB GMT.

Thanks! If you see my previous SOTC, I had a white dial watch that I gave to my SO. Means it’s still in this house and I can wear it, but it’s technically not mine anymore 😜

Thanks! I’m not more than a desk diver to be honest. In the pool/lake/ocean I’m not wearing any of my watches as I find it rather uncomfortable

That the Tissot gets more time on wrist?

Ah I see. On one hand it’s one of the newer models in my collection so I naturally want to wear it, right? On the other hand it sits more comfortable than most of the other watches I own and have owned in the past. Also I like that it was rather cheap in comparison to previous purchases and I don‘t handle it as careful as e.g. a 6000€ watch thus making wearing it kind of relaxed. I hope you get what I mean 😄
