Anyone bought from Barton watch bands before?

Stupid question I’m sure. But how are their quality? What’s your experience with their bands? I see that all their bands come with quick release pins. Looked at their site and saw that they sell my favorite leather (horween) which I paid an Etsy seller 80 bucks for that same material as opposed to Barton that sells horween bands for less than that. I’m looking at their Cordura and one piece leather nato atm.

I have got some NATO straps from them. They seem fine. Most first time or from them I determined to late the strap would not work for my needs. Called them and tried to cancel the order but it was to late. They gave me a refund and told me to keep the strap. it was a leather strap. Good quality. The leather straps don't taper at the buckle.

·

I have bought several leather and canvas straps from them, and I have no complaints.

·

I purchased one - and the quality was excellent - but the color was off. It supposed to be red and ended up almost pink in person. I returned it with no hassles.

·

Have several. Two leather three nato and a silicone. I’ve had no issues with them at all. Very good quality. Better quality that AliExpress and StrapsCo.

·

My experience is not good. The leather straps are as stiff as it gets. You can find much better straps elsewhere. I’d look at Etsy

·

Great balance between price, availability, function, and form.

Their Tropic 2.0 is awesome, since it comes with two lengths for that perfect keeper position.

The wife LOVES the canvas variants..and if have to say they are quite comfortable myself.

Plus they are Texan, so they've already got that going for them. Obvs I'm biased, but still IFYKYK.

I have a few of their silicone straps. Quality is very good for the price in my opinion and I will probably buy more.

·

Big Barton fan here

·

I have a few of their leather straps. I have no complaints and they are holding up well, and look nice. Good selection of colors as well.

·

I have one silicone band and I like it. I won't buy again just because I have to pay import tax here in Europe. otherwise I would certainly consider to buy from them again.

·

Their silicone bands are great. Super comfy & they give you 2 sizes for the male end.

·

Just bought my first from them: a sailcloth (leather lined); and a two-tone silicone rubber. Nice quality. Quick shipping.

My go-to for straps has been Cheap NATO Straps, which are true to their name. I’d say Barton are better quality at a fair price.

·

I love 'em! Here is a cordura/silicon strap on my Promaster Diver EO2020-08E.

Here is one of their Horween straps on my Junghans Milano Solar.

I also love their canvas straps.

Here is my Nighthawk on a black canvas strap. Their saddle leather straps are nice as well.

I have a canvas strap, no issues with it. Quick release is nice

Barton is my go-to band brand. I have several leather bands, a couple hybrid bands, an elite silicon band, a nato band, and several canvas bands. Their quick release mechanism across all of these bands feels sturdy, and I’ve never had a problem with them.

Leather: these are very comfortable, have plenty of holes to get the right fit, and they’re high quality for the price. The only trouble I’ve had with my leather straps is that the thread they used for the stitching isn’t very durable.

Hybrid: These are surprisingly comfortable to me. Leather in appearance, but durable rubber against the skin. Maybe a little on the thick side though.

Elite Silicon: In general, I do not tend to be a fan of silicon style bands. They seem to cling to my skin and they never breath well. I got their Navy blue elite band to match my blue dial Mako II (perfect match by the way), and I’ve been truly impressed. These bands are light, durable, soft, and not clingy! It actually feels like my skin breathes a little better with these.

NATO: The nato that I got from them is terrible, stiff, scratches your skin, and doesn’t seem to want to break in. Feels like a old school slap bracelet that’s made of steel wool. It’s the only bad strap in the batch. It’s so stiff, the end barely fits through the clasp. It looks great, but it mostly sits in the box for me.

Canvas: These are the hero of the Barton catalog in my mind. They look great, and they’re super comfortable. They may look a little too casual for a dressy watch, but for everything else, these pair really nicely. And they’re dirt cheap.

·

They are decent and the quality is commensurate with their price. I will say that they are better than Strapsco. The best straps I’ve had were in the $50-75 price range. I’ve bought a few straps in the $80-$120 range and don’t see any added quality so I’ve sworn off straps costing more than $70.

I’ve compared my ZuluDiver sailcloth straps with my buddies Artem straps and I don’t see any difference, he doesn’t either but he still buys Artem. I’d love to get a leather strap made of old ammo pouches but can see paying the $200 and up prices they command.

Sorry I digress. Yeah Barton makes good straps for those prices.

·

LOVE the tactical elite silicone straps!!!

·

I buy straps almost exclusively from Barton because I love the quality.

·

I have a silicone one. Love it.

·

I have multiple leather and canvas straps from Barton and I’m a big fan. The quality is great, especially at that price point.

·

I have a Barton on one of my watches and would not hesitate to purchase another, if necessary. As always, YMMV.

·

Similar to others, I've purchased a few canvas and leather straps, and have been happy with them.

The canvas straps are genuinely great. I'll probably buy a few more of these.

The leather straps are good for the price point. You won't mistake them for high-end, but they are better than others I've tried at similar prices elsewhere.

I haven't had any problems, so I can't speak to the customer service side of things.

·

My proof point is their customer service. Its excellent. Easy to work with. Exchanges until I was happy with my choice. Personable and friendly. So yes I'm a fan and prob my fave band/strap company.

·

I have a couple Barton rubber straps and love them

Ya took 3 weeks direct and 2 days via amazon

yeah, I've ordered a bunch over the years. I really like the straps but Barton was a pain to deal with. Actually, they always made things right, but I ordered direct 3 times and every time it was an issue. Wrong bands sent. Web page said it was in stock, it didn't arrive, and emails to them suggested they didn't know when they would have more. Wrong size sent. Every time I ordered there was a problem. In their defense, they fixed the problem by either sending the right straps (never asked for the wrong ones back) or refunded my money without question.

But when ordering from Amazon, always quick delivery, always the right strap. Same price.

I've only bought the Elite Silicone straps. Good colours (other than the blue which was a bit too purple for my liking) and nicely made. Super comfy. Great straps. Great when bought through Amazon. Direct from Barton? If they don't screw up the order, you'll be waiting for it.

I still have a Barton strap on one watch. I've switched to FKM rubber on the others. FKM is nicer. Barton is nice enough. And I like that they come with the short and long strap options. I need longer than average.

·

I have four barton bands. Two leather which are great quality but have no taper. Plus two rubber straps which I really love (and have taper)

·

I've looked on Bartons, but ultimately went with Threaded Leather Co. and Holbens. Holbens has a great selection of many watch band brands and I think had bands that were more appealing to me. But I'm a newbie to buying bands. I just made a poll on a few bands I bought from them including one from Hirsch and two from Fluco brand.

I wrote a gushing review about barton straps a few months ago - it was such a positive review, some folks assumed it was a paid review. But honestly, it wasn;t, I care about details and I am almost always dissappointed with straps - These Barton straps were just such a refreshing pleasure to finally find a strap company who aren't cutting corners.

I've owned 3-4 rubber straps, the latest being the elite silicon. The quality is fantastic, loads of nice features like tabs added to the strap retainers to help keep them in the position you want them, and two different length straps are sent for free, so everyone is catered for.

I haven't bought their fabric/leather straps, but if the silicon elite strap is anything to go by, they really put a lot of thought into their products.

I don't ever look at reviews on this site as paid. I just know the members too well. 🤣

I've purchased several leather straps from Barton. Excellent quality and good buys in every case.
