NWA! G-Shock Blue - Keeper or leaver?
To all of you watch enthusiasts.
I got very interested in G-Shocks recently. I guess everything started with the baby blue John Mayer G-Shock. I loved this color immediately. Unfortunately this watch is hard to get in Germany unless you are willing to pay a lots of premium. Also this watch is to massive for my tiny wrist. So I looked up some alternatives in this color. I came across the mini Casioak in light blue and pulled the trigger. Today it arrived and I kind of like it. I don't know if the color is a little bit to feminin, since the watch usually addresses women.
The color of the watch is hard to capture but it is a light blue with just a tiny little bit of purple in it.
What do you think? Should I keep it?

I would suggest you wear the watch for about a week and then see how you feel about it. By that time you should know if you want to continue to wear it or not.
I dont think the color is feminine, i think its interesting but i do get the feeling (from the picture at least) that its a little hard to read.
You like what you like, doesn't matter about who it's 'target audience' is, keep it!
I vote no, but not for the color.
I've had 2 Casioaks and gotten rid of them for legibility and my preference for a tough looking design in a tough watch.
But if you like it, why does what I say matter?
I would never presume to advise someone on what watch choices they should make. Wear what you like. I will advise this, if you aren't sure about it, give it some time and you will know. If you aren't wearing it much after the honeymoon, you will probably offload it.

Same as for myself with the GA-B2100, I find the strap too long; I finally cut it to the right size few months back and it's perfect since. Good piece mate, wear it in good health.

What are you doing buying a watch if you don't even know you want to keep it? Why'd you buy it? Keep it if you like it! If you don't like it, you shouldn't have bought it! Take it back! Or maybe sell it to me, it's pretty hot
The color is good, not sure about the size, but that is most likely the angle and the stray strap. I say enjoy it.
It's a keeper! And you can mod it with a casioak kit.

Color looks great, I think it works fine as unisex piece I wouldn't have guessed it was marketed to women if you hadn't pointed it out
Thank you all so much for your feedback and thoughts. It really helped me alot deciding. I have to say that i decided to return it. I liked the color very much. I liked the Casioak case very much, so I liked the blocky 3d indices. After stearing on the dial for quite some time I noted that I dont like it ins it's overall package. The layout its not that round and symetric and the fact that the whole watch is basically in the same color is a point that I dont like.
Good that I have "a few" other pieces in my collection so there is no void to fill... I think.
