Today I bought myself my first gold watch. At the age of 20 I promised myself that when I turn 30 I get myself my first gold watch.
There we are at the age of almost 29, I bought my first watch in 18K rose gold. I looked for it for quite a while and when I found this beauty I knew that this is the one. Inspired by the Saxonia thin I looked especially for a time only dresswatch made of rose gold with hand wound movement and a simple minimalistic dial design. Today I met the guy from the shop for a drink and a short chat about timepieces. When he showed up the watch, I was in love. I really had to bring this beauty home.
Now I have to be patient, till I can bring it up on my 30th birthday... in 13 month. No cheating allowed. Tough time ahead but it will be worth the wait.

Congrats! What a amazing watch that will definitely will be worth the wait. 👌
Nice watch but... IF you turn 30?
I applaud a fairly young person having good traditional taste. I'm a bit older and acquired a similar plain gold dress watch. It's like lots of other items that one feels are too stodgy and old-fashioned until one reaches a certain vintage themselves. But you know when the time is right.
Quite lovely. Congrats! 😄
Eine wahre goldene Schönheit!
Classic! Well done! That will look just as good in 10,20,30+ years.
Whoa, long wait. Good luck. I’m counting down to 40 for a purchase as well so I feel the burn like Usher too.
Gorgeous dress watch, love it
Congrats man! The watch is stunning 😍
Nice watch but... IF you turn 30?
Thanks man, corrected that. English isn't my first language 😊
