Ball Engineer III Pioneer II 36mm

Saw that Ball is doing another 36mm release, I appreciate how they are putting these out, as most of their other watches are pretty big at like 40mm+...

Absolute stunner; love this reference

Oh forgot to mention, I own a 114270 from 2006 and I love it; but if there were an alternate reality where tudor released a 36mm ranger I more than likely may have gotten that instead

I completely feel this, the modern OP and DJ are just big even at 36mm; I think the 34mm seems like a better option for people who are into vintage sizing.

Oh for sure I'm sure 39mm wears great and I don't have a small wrist or anything, I'm really drawn dainty but rugged pieces; when they start exceeding about 36mm-37mm it loses that charm for me - just a personal taste thing

I love the ranger but the lack of 36mm means it's just hard pass from me; this is a shame because I much prefer it's retro explorer looking dial, but to me it completely loses the vintage aesthetic by being way too big

Just wait it out these things are cyclical; big watches will be back on trend soon enough, until then us small watch fans are finally being catered to for a while. This isn't new though, how do you think we got from 36mm being a standard men's size to 40mm+ maybe it's just more noticable with so much YouTube content available

Personally I think small watches are timeless and never go totally out of style even if the trend shifts back towards larger stuff

I love my 36mm engineer III

I'm very glad to see ball putting out more stuff in sizes less than 40mm
