Thank you all so much for your feedback and thoughts. It really helped me alot deciding. I have to say that i decided to return it. I liked the color very much. I liked the Casioak case very much, so I liked the blocky 3d indices. After stearing on the dial for quite some time I noted that I dont like it ins it's overall package. The layout its not that round and symetric and the fact that the whole watch is basically in the same color is a point that I dont like.

Good that I have "a few" other pieces in my collection so there is no void to fill... I think.

A very inspiring thread. I get a few ridiculous ideas what to add to my spreadsheet. It's a good feeling that I'm not the only crazy one out there. I keep record of the service cost and the service intervals (not the stupid suggestions from the brands). All that numbers are also broken down to the monthly cost. All that monthly costs of my collection are summed up together to let me know how much money I have to put aside every month to keep all my watches running perfectly.

Yes I'm an accountant and you don't want to know how my household finance plan looks like 😄

The Santos looks gorgeous! If you're happy, so is your wife. I would keep in mind the good part of the story. Going on the hunt with your wife to find the watch. I guess it was exciting and fun, so i's  a great story to start a journey with your new watch. I liked the Tank on your wrist as well, also in case of the "small" size. I don't trust any salesperson when they tell me their opinion on something. Listing to your heart and asking your watchcrunch buddy's for their opinion is a far better choice.

Keep on rocking that Santos! And congratulations to this stunning watch!

What is your wrist size btw?

Thanks so much! Yes, at the most time my outfit selection starts with the watch. 😁

The combination of leathers is key for me. Strap, belt, shoes and gloves have to be in tone.

I feel that this could be a whe topic on it's own 🤔
