No date or date at six, but I’m mostly disappointed by dates at four/4:35 location when they haven’t been specifically set up for 4pm. At three it just upsets the symmetry.
It’s not for me, but that’s just because I’m vegan these days. 😊 🌱 The leather looks good tho and I’m always on the look out for interesting alternatives, so I mostly have budget friendly FKM rubber straps, natos and I’ve found some traditional looking non-leather straps in pineapple fibre, cork, banana leaf, hemp and even apple fibre. Pretty cool if anyone is looking for alternatives. 👌
OG for me. Not keen on shiny ceramic bezels, but haven’t owned one, just dont like the glare and reflections I see in pics of them.
I used to be a Seiko fan. I have only had a handful of Seikos. All of them have had QC issues. They are ‘cheap’ Seikos, but I don’t believe that excuses Seiko in any way. A gen 2 Monster, three SKX007s in rapid succession and a SRP777, all with alignment problems either bezels, chapter rings, or both significantly off. Would I spend £1,000 on a Seiko after that experience or after reading this thread? No way. Their price-hike on their base divers reflects nothing but greed. As far as I see it there has been no improvement worth the doubling of their low end prices. Seiko need to do better.
