What’s your dominant hand and on which wrist do you wear your watch?

I was just thinking about this and wondered if it has a causation or correlation with more dinged up watches. Hmmm. Anyhoo, how do you wear your watch? What’s most comfortable to you? 🤔 Vote and discuss! 😊

I’m your basic right handed guy who wears a watch on his left wrist. But I started out wearing one on my right before it was pointed out to me that that the left wrist is the ‘proper’ wrist for right handed people to wear a watch on. Me being an impressionable yoof at the time, I kinda just went with that. I have since tried to wear a watch on the right, but find it a strangely uncomfortable and almost unsettling experience. Plus, I totally smashed my G-Shock into everything that day. Not that the G noticed. 😂

As part of the #1wc challenge we gotta go goofy on the weekends and that’s the first I’d gone for an extended time on my dominant wrist and it was awkward and almost doubly as hazardous. I swing around my arms like an ape and smash into door frames and hallway corners all the time, but felt I was doing it even more so when it was on my dominant/right wrist. No likey.

I'm a right/right because my wrists are small and my right is slightly larger than my left. Also, I like to have both hands with something on it, with my wedding ring on my left. And, yes, I tend to ding my watches, hehe.

Left/left which means I'm a bit harder on my watches.  I tried them on my right and it just felt too weird.  Worn them on my left since I was a kid probably because that's what everyone else was doing and not realizing it was not ideal for a  southpaw.

Right hand guy who 15% of the time wears my watch on my right wrist. Otherwise, i'm normal. ( am I normal?)

E. Wears two watches. (Left and right…which I think is silly)

I'm right handed and generally wear my watch on the left wrist, except when I'm driving so I can look at it more easily (when stopped at lights etc 🙄). Driving on the left, I tend to have my left hand on the gear stick or arm rest, which means my watch is too far away 😉. I also sometimes wear watches with a bigger crown on the right as there is less stress on the crown that way. Sometimes, at home, I wear a watch on each wrist simultaneously 😜, but please don't tell anyone that... 🤯

Interesting question, I am left handed but used to were my watch on my right hand , but after losing 3 fingers on my left hand (2 got reattached) minus knuckles I can only put my watch on my left hand, I did however find I bang my watches less now, they are on the left hand.

I'm dom right/watch left like the majority but I occasionally wear it on my right too because I have some watches that have big crowns that poke my wrist. I can't be the only one that switches cause of this reason, haha

Wow that was really interesting, I hadn’t considered injury or amputation. Thanks for posting! 👍

Left / Left - I do find that my watches get a little more wear like that.  Interesting results from the survey btw.
