Affordable (cheap!) square case watch recommendations, please!
Hi folks!
My dad appreciates a square cased watch and I’m getting ahead of his next birthday.
Trying to avoid a Cartier Tank budget, more like a £100 max budget lol! So quartz analogue and budget friendly brands, if you please! Autos and hand-winders are out, he prefers the simplicity of quartz.
I’m looking for any recommendations and experience.

Thanks, that is nice! Not my usual thing, but I think I could wear this myself. More importantly, it’s definitely something that my dad would love.

Check out some vintage pieces on Ebay, apart from Seiko, Citizen and other great brands that people have already mentioned (if you are okay with a watch that would be more delicate than a new one)
If not, Seiko is always a great option:
Yeah, my granddad did back in the day. Definitely a fondly remembered brand. My dad is approaching 75.

This is awesome!! Never heard of them before, but they seem to have som history and the movement is supposedly french 🦄 Very exotic 🤣 I was looking at one of Hamiltons Tanks, but now i don't know anymore.
