While I haven't posted every day, I have posted pretty regularly - 113 out of the 230 days in 2023 so far, or roughly half. Herein is the data showing the timepieces that have graced my wrist so far.

If you are a follower of mine you will know my love affair with the quintessential Japanese brand, #seiko. 63% of the time you will find a Seiko on my wrist. Add in days when I wore an #alba or a #pulsar and that number creeps up to 68%.

#vostok is next with a mere 12 days (10%) on the wrist, followed by #orient at 8 days (7%) #timex (6%) and #citizen (5%).

Of the 71 days I wore a Seiko, most were #seiko5 pieces, followed by #prospex and #speedtimers (love me my 6139s!). The "other" category is full of models from Seiko's #premier, Essential and Conceptual lines etc.

Overall #chronographs (37%)made up the majority of types of watches I've been wearing so far in 2023:

Followed by #diverwatches (29%) "Dress" watches (19.5%) which I categorise as pretty much anything on my wrist that is shiny and isn't a chrono, dive, or sports/field watch, and #sport / #field watches at 18.5%.

The numbers don't lie.

I really like this geekiness.

I have posted to WRUW every day this year (230). I wear "dress" watches 77.8% percent of the time. I wear American watch brands 45.6% of the time, followed by Swiss 34%. I have worn a Finnish watch twice as often as a Japanese one (4 times to two), although the Finnish watch has a Japanese movement. I have worn watches from nine countries, two of which no longer exist.
