Ordered It

Just ordered it, I'll post wrist shots in a few days. I loved Snoopy and Peanuts growing up. Even owned the CD.

But what really got me was the white dial, black bezel, day-date, and that comic font. I mean, what's the point of watch collecting if it isn't unique and fun?

That's a great watch. I'm getting a Snoopy watch for my wife for her birthday next month. She's all about snoopy. That day date is in the running along with a Snoopy Timex. Congratulations. Awesome pick up.

This is such a cool watch. I’m thinking of getting one of these as well. Where did you order yours?

Those are both really sweet. I like the green one the most. It has Woodstock and flowers

I'm going to have to figure out which one she wants the most. It'll be her first watch.

Very nice watch!

I bought my wife one last week. Obviously I'm gonna borrow it LOL.

Ooh, exciting! I've also been looking at this one (as well as the pink Timex @whystopatone posted) - can't wait to see what you think of it!

·

Can't wait to see some wrist picks! 👍

I love the clean black and white look 😍

·

Hell yeah congrats!! The seiko/snoopy diver is a killer watch. 👏👏👏

I got its sibling, the Parachute, for Father’s Day and I love everything about it. The pop of color, the Shultz font numerals, paw print signed crown, and playful use of the Type-B flieger design to pair with the aviation theme. Just Perfect.

This Snoopy series is so damn cool that the entire family wanted to get their own after seeing mine. You have to applaud a watch when it gets the entire fam to start collecting.

The black and white look mimics how it looked in the newspaper.

·

What killed that one for me was the text on the surfboard.

If the surfboard just had stripes running down it, I think I was in.

Yup, I know the feeling. Enjoy it!

·

I love Charlie Brown & the Peanuts gang! I read all of the little paperbacks and had the album, "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" on vinyl, which I played on my record player. And of course every holiday you just have to watch the Peanuts Specials! ❤

Great watch pick! ❤

That's so flipping cool smh nicely done

Awesome! Gonna get one too thanx for sharing. Have fun with it.

·

That’s a great looking watch, and Snoopy adds to it! Looking forward to actual pics on your arm.

·

I bought one a couple of days ago! Haven’t worn it yet. It’s smaller than I would like, but I wanted it anyway.

Timex has several Peanuts ones. I always try to get Xmas ones but they get sold out ☹️

I bought the “pilot” version of this watch and I’m 100% with you. It’s fun, rock solid, and full of great little details. Compared to the Oris Kermit, these Seiko Snoopys are so much more thoughtfully executed and on-brand, right own to the small case sizes and $400 price tag. $4k for a Muppet watch, no matter what brand name is on the dial or what movement is behind it, is obnoxious and dissonant, and I say that as a huge fan of the non-Kermit ProPilot watches. Seiko did everything right with these ;)

I really like the styling of that one. b dial, iconic snoopy pilot, that watch really is youthful fun without being tacky and tasteless. I never really thought of the price of the Oris Kermit, but it is a lot of money for what is a simple green watch with a frog on the date wheel

My beef with the price of the Oris isn't that the watch itself ism't interesting or priced similarly to other watches at that spec (full-titanium, "in-house" movement, 120 hr power reserve, etc), and the non-Kermit version of the same watch is pretty intriguing. It's hard for me to articulate, but it feels like a violation of sorts to take a character associated with childhood innocence and appropriate it to sell a luxury watch for thousands of dollars feels really gross in the way a $400 Seiko with no snob-appeal doesn't.
