Nomos Zurich Worldtimer

My Zurich just turned 2. I bought it 2 years ago during Sydney lockdown 1.0 thinking that I can travel with it after the lockdown. 2 years later, I still haven’t been on a plane ✈️. What are your travel plans for 2022??? Itching to go somewhere!

Such a handsome Watch!  I just recently purchased my first NOMOS (after admiring their Club collection for some time). Very pleased with the purchase.

·

Great looking watch, even better on the strap. Scouting a GMT for myself this year as well. Overseas travel later this year as long as some new variant doesn’t destroy us all first.

·

I Live in the Western US and so far this year I'm planning on a train trip to Glenwood Springs, Colorado (first time on a train!), a road trip to Yellowstone & a road trip to Estes Park, Colorado (Stanley Hotel, inspiration for The Shining).

If things go well for my favorite college football team, a trip to Vegas and California may be in the cards for December/January. IF so, I will be springing for a watch to celebrate.

·

Love that strap 👌

·

Good God, a Nomos I like. What is happening today.

Beautiful watch! I too had once been a frequent traveler with over 50 national and international trips per year. Now 2 years, 2 months since my last plane trip. I’m on the East coast of the US and may soon start routine trips to London, which leads me to think my dual time zone watches may get some use. Meanwhile, my world timer wonders what happened.

First plane ride next weekend ... if I haven't caught COVID from the company retreat last week...so far it looks like 5/15 people did catch it. We were careful (open windows etc.) but not masked. Lesson learned--mask up if you've got mission critical travel coming up, like my son's graduation! I've been wanting to finally get a GMT but perhaps a "caller" rather than a "traveler" will still be the best bet!

·

The only Nomos I like! We've finally planned a Caribbean trip in a few weeks so I can stock up on watchpics on the beach hehe

·

Really cool piece!

I find the white version perhaps a bit too cold. The blue feels much more rounded and the indices come out more.

I would be curious to see what it looks like on a calf strap

First trip on a plane in a few years I took this G Shock with me. Quick time zone swap and of course all the usual features make it a great candidate for a do everything anywhere watch. It's CHONKY tho. I wear this thing to concerts too.

·

That is a very lovely watch 👌

I'm planning on going boating around the Norfolk Broads in the summer. It's supposed to look like this:

But if the late night ebay watch buying sessions with @Gasworks continue then it's going to look more like this:

No travel plans. Just wanted to say that watch is BEAUTIFUL!

Masking up is the way to go before an important occasion or event. enjoy the trip!!

Sure, it’s a Citizen CB0028-58E. This black variety was somewhat rare, now discontinued. I reviewed it here on WC a few weeks ago.

No this is a strapbandit cloth strap

Looks awesome. I'd probably be a white dial guy myself, but this thing is a total grail piece for me!

white dial is beautiful as well but I picked blue as I had a lot of white dial watches at the time and I love this particular shade of blue

·

love this piece but 30m water resist… hard pass

Fair point, but it's a standard for dress watches though
