What are you eyeing next?

Right now the only thing I absolutely want is a new speedy. I have considered the updated 1957 models and the chronoscope, but will probably go with the classic sapphire sandwich moonwatch. 
 

The Pelagos and the FXD have also been an on-again/off-again obsession, but ultimately I think that is one I will resist (unless they ever make a 40mm <13mm thick with bracelet version) 

Pelagos is awesome!!!..... right now I'm waitlisted for an Explorer 36...... waiting for the call.....but my heads been occupied by the no date sub 114060.....it's been a solid month.....comes and goes...but now it's back with all this chatter of prices dropping

You can’t go wrong with the Pelagos. Just got this a few days back and still amazed at the whole design. 

I'd love to get my hands on either the Tudor Black Bay Harrods edition or the upcoming SLGH011

I have these in mind 

I have been eyeing the Steinhart vintage ocean GMT for a while and now they are reissuing it the idea has turned from a simmer to a boil. I think ultimately I may think better of buying a 42mm watch however.

Also the cronos GMT has been in my Ali Express basket for a while, but I'd need to wait till the sales later in the year for that one.

My longer term goal is the new Ball Engineer iii marvelight. They are just phenomenal watches and I see one in my future at some point. Perhaps towards the end of the year.

The Tudor bronze Bucherer blue version won't leave my head.

I'm currently obsessing over Dornblueth & Sohn.  Made to order German watches where you can spec everything yourself at a "modest" price.  Albeit that idea of modest has me thinking about mortgaging a kidney.  Proper old school watchmaking.

Got my eye on a few under-the-radar models that offer real bang for buck. Don't want to say as I don't want people to start buying them until I get mine.

Or alternatively talk about their antithesis and drive the relative prices down....

Pelagos is awesome & world class. This watch punches way above its weight. Great in-house movement in new release, classic diver looks and features, with very cool clasp no other watch has. You get all the gadgets of its pricier Rolex Brother & the comp (Omega comes to mind) with a unique style only Pelagos has. I say go for it!

My next one will be the new Cartier Tank Louis. It would be released in late summer and I am the first one at my AD that will get one :)

Hung up on Ti as well.  
My plan is to actually try to see some of my obsession watches on wrist b4 pulling trigger on any more Love Pelagos, GS Ti heritage models, … oh crap also need to see the rado captain cook ceramic, anything from W&W ‘22, etc 

Now that I think of it there is tons of watches I’m obsessing over.

I had the chance to try on the FXD yesterday and now it’s definitely off my list. 

Can’t get spring drive out my mind. more specifically, the “budget” snowflake, which has a lug to lug more suitable for my wrist, and for whatever the reason rarely gets talked about, the SBGA465 

I understand, on one hand I also do believe when spending a large amount of money, especially on something like a watch, it has to be special.

And I think the Pelagos line somewhat goes against that because it looks so tool-like. Friend asked me if it was a toy. 🤷🏻‍♂️

So I’ve recently been getting in to #jlc. I don’t think I ever fully appreciated their history, or their wide range in catalog. Having purchased the obligatory reverso, I’ve become obsessed with this: 

The polaris Mariner Memovox. The idea of an alarm function on a mechanical watch is very appealing to me. We’ll see.

Love the Polaris line. I should have gotten it when my father offered 😂 I do like the original Polaris watches a teeny bit more though, the slight changes make the Memovox look a little too aggressive to me.

Such a cool watch!  It's super handsome, well finished, and mechanically interesting.

Such an underrated line... well the whole of GO is.

I would buy a Credor Phoenix chronograph gcbp997 immediately if I could find a complete set in decent condition.

I've been eyeing a Grand Seiko sbgm221 for about a year now and frankly don't really know why I haven't pulled the trigger.

Both excellent choices. I wonder if there's something about a watch being too available?

No doubt.  I have been interested for years in the GS.  Its beautiful, it's well made, and it's not even terribly expensive for what it is even if you pay full ride. 

And yet I've felt no great need to do anything because it feels abundant and there's so many other things to do with scarce funds.

I imagine there's a price where I'd force myself to pull the trigger but I am surprised by my lack of urgency.

I just read about this watch for the first time a few days ago.  I have added it to the list of watches to possibly buy in the future.

The Credor Phoenix is hot fire. 

I have a very serious weakness for chronographs.  

One day you're a one watch only guy, the next you're browsing seedy Japanese proxy bidding sites just to get another hit of those sweet sweet vertical clutches.
