All brushed watches

I really love the current Omega Railmaster. One of the things like most about it is the case finishing. All brushed, pure understatement, no bling.

Any other under-the-radar (field)watches with this kind of case finishing you can think of?

This is an Omega that flew under my radar for a considerable time. At this time it's definitely the next Omega purchase I'd make, I think it's class.

Definitely a great choice! I sold my silver dial because of the lack of contrast. But I'm seriously considering getting a black dial Railmaster. The watch is just that good!

I love my Railmaster. Versatile, and can be changed to suit almost any need with strap changes. In addition there was a member here that posted a brown rubber that looked sharp.

Tudor Ranger is all brushed, not quite to the point of the dial like the Railmaster. Great watch the Railmaster, even if it does sound like a porn actor’s stage name.

Why did you have to go that way, mate

Haha sorry. I realise the anti magnetism train history is totally legit. I saw a joke and went for it 😅

Grand Seiko's SBGA4xx series have fully brushed bracelets and largely brushed cases. The modern King Seiko's get similar treatment. Big fan myself, particularly of the fully brushed bracelet. Death to polished centre links!

·

Love the Railmaster, and especially the denim dial!

I love the look of the current Railmaster, especially the black dial version.

An all-brushed case is one of my favorite things about Dirty Dozen style watches too, like my #vaer A12:

The #vertex M100A has also been on my radar for a while now:

The Tudor is surely a great watch, but haven't clicked for me. I think it might be the hue of the printed numerals, somehow too green. Also I feel there's too much empty space on the dial. I guess the Railmaster faux patina is also not everyone's favorite, but I feel the crosshair really pulls the dial together...

Love your BB36 btw!

Haha, I wouldn't go that far, but yeah, I'd like to have an all brushed bracelet on my Aqua Terra as well. Don't have the balls to get the bracelet brushed though.

I've always been intrigued my the King Seiko's, but after owning my first Grand Seiko, I feel there is a noticable difference in quality that's stopping me from getting one. (There's a lot of hate for the movements, but I think if the price is right, the hate is blown a bit out of proportion)

This BB58 is pretty special, I have to say, nice choice, awesome watch! Especially the use of silver makes it something different. Definitely also my pick of the BB58 range.

Yeah, the denim is cool as well. If they brought out a RM with the black dial and white markers in 37mm, I'd buy 3! 😄

·

Am definitely a fan of brushed cases too! 👍

Thanks! I agree, something about the Ranger doesn’t really do it for me. Might be the negative space as you say. The green is a little odd too.

I’d mention the hour hand, but other reviewers have made that comment. I’ve also made one too many blue jokes as it is on this thread 😂

Exactly – that’s why it’s only on my radar and not on my wrist :)

I remember driving over to the Omega boutique in Atlanta the day they opened after lockdown in 2020 to check out a black AT, but the Railmasters were the ones that caught my eye !

( they didn’t have the silver AT that I eventually bought )

·

Absolutely stunning watch, love the silver one!
