Watches under microscope vol. 16 Seiko 5 SNZH53
Welcome to the next sequel of the photo series: watches under the microscope. This time we'll take a closer look at the Seiko 5 model designation SNZH53. The watch is a representative of the Seiko 5 Sports series, which is characterized by water resistance with a value of 100M and a slightly more robust processing than the classic Seiko 5
Looking closely, you can see that the workmanship of the watch has its reserves. Both the indices and the hands show imperfections and defects. However, considering the price of the watch, I consider these defects to be minor.The application of the lume layer is good, as is the printing of the text on the dial.
This watch, although priced below, say, the SKX, is very decently made. It's a shame that Seiko doesn't make similar pieces with better movements today.
As always, please excuse the quality of the photos, which were taken with a child's microscope, which also needs a lot of light to function, so it can show what is hidden not only to the eye, but also to the macro lens of the camera.
