Welcome to the next sequel of the Watches Under the Microscope. Today we're taking a closer look at Seiko watch again, this time at the SNZG13 - the Field Automatic watch from the 5 Sports series. Compared to the regular 5 series models, there is better water resistance (100M) and a slightly more robust case. Inside ticks an automatic movement with no hacking and no manual winding option.
This 5 is crafted nicely. The printing looks of good quality within reason. The application of lume on the indices has its reserves, but Seiko traditionally masks these imperfections with white paint. The plastic logo has a few scratches, but looks good. The white hands have remnants of the luminescent coating on them. The red tip of the seconds hand looks really good - this detail is better done than on much more upmarket brands.
For me, an absolutely nicely made watch that could have been bought new for a lovely 2200 CZK.
As always, please excuse the quality of the photos, which were taken with a kid‘s microscope, which also needs a lot of light to function, so it can show what is hidden not only to the eye, but also to the macro lens of the camera.

Surprisingly nice typography for the price range 👍
I have a similar digital microscope and I've never thought to put my watches under it 😂
I don't want to encroach on your series though, keep up the great work
