Welcome to the eighth part of Watch Under the Microscope.
This time we're taking a closer look at the Casio G-Shock GA-2100 aka Casioak.
The dial and most of the elements are black with a textured surface. The imperfections must be found on the print and white elements. The printing on the watch is not of any quality, the microscope revealed both blurred paint and uneven paint application. The hands and their paintwork look good. The various small structures are also nicely rendered. The luminescent layer on the hands is applied surprisingly well - with this model, I was always annoyed that the individual 5-minute indices are also not luminous, but only white. I always liked the day-of-the-week indicator, which reminds me of the " controller" from The Sheriff and the Satellite Kid in its shape.
As always, please excuse the quality of the photos, which were taken with a child's microscope, which also needs a lot of light to function, so it can show what is hidden not only to the naked eye, but also to the camera's macro lens.

Another exquisite entry in this series! I love how the overall sterile futuristic feel of the watch sort of disappears when you get close enough to study textures and the imperfections in paint application.
Impressive
