Favorite Set of Watch Hands?

I’m curious to know what your favorite set of watch hands is? The BB58 is probably my favorite watch, and while many aren’t fans of the snowflake handset, it’s a feature that really drew me to this piece and reminds me of the original Tudor MN subs!

Here’s one that doesn’t get any attention that I think works really well:

Alpha hands with a lollipop seconds hand. I recognized how much I liked them when I started thinking about why I don’t like Cristopher Ward lance lands, and was contrasting them with the Speedmaster, ultimate legibility, baton hands.

I don’t own, but very much like the blues sword hands of the Cartier Santos (white dial).

I guess "my" answer to this question is ...it depends. It depends on whether it's a dive watch, dress watch, field watch, chronograph etc. I don't like lume on my dress watches but I look for it on my sports watches and want it on my divers. I do love the snow flakes hands but in "my opinion" it doesn't work on a chronograph.

Sword hands, especially those on the Seamaster 2254.50. They’re just so easy to read, especially at my age.

Seiko hands too the moon 🌝

Omega speedmaster 57 or Planet Ocean I think. Dauphin, but with more oomph. I don’t mind the SMP hands, but the skeletonisation works best on chronos, and they can be a bit busy — even if I appreciate the use of shapes in the lume.

I strongly dislike syringe hands. Make your mind up between an epi and a sabre when you’re slicing those seconds people.

My favorite hands are in this guys

Photos by yours truly :)

The seiko duel finish sword hands are magic 😎

JLC have a GMT complication which I'd love to get hold of at some point. It's not necessarily the shape of the gmt hand itself, but the way it's a 12 hour GMT which can therefore tuck behind the local hour hand when not in use just seems super neat. I know there are a few other examples out there (Patek).

I'm also a big fan of a heat blued seconds hands:

Those hands do look great! I love the aquis, it’s such a solid watch and I’d love to own one at some point!

Those are all fantastic choices! I hadn’t seen Louis XIV hands before, those are so cool! It definitely evokes the baroque design of that era!

The BB snowflake hand is truly unique to Tudor. Love it!
