Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I had the same Seiko Quartz Diver for 20+ years and Apple Watches over the last 8. But I got sick of the charging and annoying software so I sold it and decided to get a nice new watch. But now at a later stage in my life, I realized I could afford much cooler watches. I was hooked.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Timex watch from Walmart as a kid
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My first luxury watch, my Gand Seiko Diver. I was at a watch event and was actually talking to Joe Kirk who showed it to me and helped me pick it
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don’t buy everything you see. You only have so much wrist time to give your watches.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Seiko, Grand Seiko, Hamilton, Tudor, Rolex
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Blue and Black Rolex Deepsea. I love the thought of exploring, and the ocean is the ultimate.
