An Apple watch is not necessarily a practical watch, per se. I really, utterly hate things in my life I NEED to charge. Too much clutter.
...and as a bonus; you could share and wear the Daytona between you. The Cartier Panthére is de facto too small for a normal man's wrist and lacks any adjustment possibilities - the Daytona at least has the easy link to compensate in wrist differences between two persons sharing one watch.
