Skelotenized watches. Yey or ney?

The technical aspect is understandable, but the visual...I'm not onboard.

I don't like them at all. I get why people like them, but they just aren't for me.

There are exceptions, though.

I like display case backs, but skeletonized watches are not for me. I think it is legibility thing for me. Usually it is harder to tell time with that type of watch. There maybe exceptions, but I have not found any. In all honesty, I haven't looked for any.

Makes reading the time difficult most of the time. Just not my thing.

·

I like them only if they are "dense" and one cannot see through.

It depends on how it’s exacuted tbh I don’t mind some like the Hamilton jazz master with the white dial but then the black one just seems to busy in a way I can’t describe but like I said it’s just how it’s exacuted

Depends. Sometimes, like the Zenith Defy El Primero I can almost read the time, or the AP Royal Oak, or the Oris Pro Pilot or Artelier. Otherwise, it’s just too illegible for me. I compromise with an open heart or a display back.

It's rarely done well. For me, the cartier tank asymetrique, but we are talking silly money.

One - just need to have the one in the collection. Doesn't matter which one. Just one. IMHO
