What is your next watch?

Hello fellow crunchers!

I just thought I would start a discussion into which watch is your next watch?

Not the unobtainable ultimate grail (unless your lucky enough)

But what are you currently looking for?

Saving up for?

For me I have been obsessed with buying a dive watch for a while now,

but I'm not a huge dive watch fan, infact I have only owned 1 in the last few years and I recently let it go as I didn't wear it due to how thick it was.

But I think I have found the one that some how hasn't even been on my radar until recently.

And in my opinion (subjectivly) is possibly one of the most beautiful divers I have ever seen.

The seiko spb207, 140th anniversary model

Nicknamed the MM200R,

The dimensions are perfect and I absolutely love the way it looks!

About 5 reasonably priced ones on my list, at the moment, and this could change, this is top....

Nice choice, I love the tsuyosa, are you going to be brave and go with the yellow dial?

·

If I knew I'd have it by now.

No lists.

100% impulse at this point. That probably explains all the watches.

·

The MM200 is an awesome addition. I was bit too late when I decided on getting the MM200 and the SPB207 variant was top of my list but I couldn't find one for sale. So I chose the Ice birch.

I have quite a list of watches I want right now. The white Alpinist GMT is currently teasing me but the Tudor Pelagos FXD is currently on the to-buy list. Want to try one in person before I make the final decision

Man I used to impulse buy, most of the time I sold them on though so I have slowed it down now

Wow the mm200 is stunning, I have too many blue dial watches hence the search for the green 207

That's cool as hell

Still trying to figure out my next watch. I guess I'll know it when I see it? 🤔

·

Seiko Arnie. My grandson is Terminator/Arnie daft and has been on at me for ages to get "THE" watch, so I promised him that'll be my next purchase.

·

My next watch I'm gonna step up the game a bit. I really like the Longines Zulu GMT in blk/gold. Kinda checks alot of boxes.

·

I am saving for a Rolex 14060 or 14060M. I dont know if I will pull the trigger though.

·

I'm accumulating all the parts to mod my next watch perfecting my 62mas mod I bought, first time so hope it goes well 🤞and validates me not paying over retail for the new release like I was going too 😬

GasWorks

I have this ordered and arriving in November...

Nothing on the list after that other than the grail JLC Polaris.

The polaris is the dream, I absolutely love them, I need to see a twelve in person

Next one will either be another turtle or I’m liking the look of a shogun but not sure about the titanium as a rule I don’t like the feel of it

Image

Did you pick up a shogun? I have recently been bitten by the shogun bug!

·
CheapHorologer

Can’t seem to shake the Lorier Astra from my mind…

I love the looks of the astra, I have just picked up a seiko alpinist 1959 as I love its vintage style

No I picked up a padi king turtle just waiting for it to arrive but the shogun is next I’m really taken by it unless I see a great deal on an emperor tuna

Same here, I cannot pick the colour and the integrated strap just knocking me off my stride a little. There is also this one that's £50 more expensive, the CITIZEN COLLECTION NB1050-59H gets great reviews. A few different colours also, but with import tax about £100 or so more expensive, but might be worth it.

I prefer the case on the tsuyosa, I'm not sure I like the 1050, also if your going up in price the 1060 is much nicer but then it also looks like a Grand seiko homage

Very true, Its a hard choice but the strap would probably sway me towards the 1050 as I can mix and match. The 1060 lovely but breaks my budget.

Late to this discussion, but I'm typing this out to manifest it into reality. My next watch, and most likely, my exit watch to complete my collection: The new Rolex Explorer I 40mm (224270). Going to try my hardest to get this through my AD to go through the whole experience.
