I’ve joined the GS club!
Picked this up a few weeks ago from Timeworks University Village here in Seattle. I had originally tried on a Peacock last December at the Grand Seiko boutique in New York, but the timing wasn’t right. Well, when I saw that Peacock locally, for some reason, the timing just felt right.
The way the dial only shows its true magic in bright sun makes this an incredible summer watch, IMO. The GMT function is convenient yet also unobtrusive.
And I’m just so happy to have a Grand Seiko in my collection.

I love the Lake Suwa!! I’m a huge fan of the original limited edition SLGA007!! I should be taking delivery of the newest “Lake Suwa” in High Intensity Titanium SLGA019 in July. I can’t wait!!!! (And if I’m honest, I prefer the SLGA007 with its gold GS logo and gold seconds hand. I really like those subtle details. Cheers🥂
