Since it's Red Bull, was it just too crazy to incorporate the yellow Red Bull uses somewhere? If you are gonna put Red Bull Racing on it, why not go all the way and fully commit to it truly being a Red Bull watch?
I still consider myself fairly new in several different aspects, and I am 100% not asking this in a mean-spirited or sarcastic way. Just truly trying to learn...
I keep seeing this very common complaint about the bracelet and no taper.
Is it the non-taper impacting how it wears? Aesthetics? Both? More I am not thinking of?
I have heard over and over about their GADA qualities...and sure they are appealing on that front.
Here comes my overly DRAMATIC/terrible/super unpopular/and certainly uneducated takes (I totally admit to still being a newbie in a lot of areas and Tudor is 100% a brand I have put so little research into.) And I am totally open minded to them and maybe one day I'll look back at this and cringe really hard LOL. So time to have some fun:
I don't like the name Tudor for reasons I can't explain. Just an odd word.
I get annoyed with the naming structure of all the models
Shield Logo/TUDOR/GENEVE just does absolutely nothing for me on the dials
I think it's funny that items that cost upwards of $3k feel the need to litter the dial with "CHRONOMETER" "OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED" "SUPERLATIVE" etc. Like just put that crap in the owner's manual lol. I sure hope they are all those things and I can't imagine ever being in a situation where I need to look down and read that as a huge sigh of relief lol whew my $3k+ watch is officially certified, got worried it wasn't there for a second. (I know this is not just a Tudor thing.)
The odd use of that patina gold on so many of the models is meh
I wish the rose logo was on all of them to just have a tiny ounce of quirk/charm/playfulness
Instead it feels like hmm let's take a Submariner, change to some odd patina/vintage elements, throw some snowflake hands on them, maybe even squares instead of circles!, and then we can nope that's all we can muster. Call it day, everything we touch at this point works.
I can say all that and still give them props for basically everything Rolex/Tudor touches is just unreal levels of success.
It looks so great! I think one of these had made its way into my wish list. I will have to figure out which color, bc I have liked essentially all of them so far. ha
