I have always been a fan of the Blue Angels and I think the first time a friend showed me his Blue Angels’ Citizen I was hooked.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I don’t know for sure. I do remember getting a Rugrats watch sometime in the 90s. I also think it may have been from a fast food kids meal.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I have two watches from my grandfathers that are both special to me. Sharing one of those: I have my grandfather’s 1977 Mechanical Timex. He was in the Army in WWII and helped liberate Dachau. He had quite a life and the watch brings back a lot of stories/memories of him.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Keep an open mind and be a sponge. It's amazing how much there is to learn in the watch world and amazing how fun it can be to learn about all the different areas.
It's fun and funny to see how your taste will develop over time.
