New Pelagos FXD x Red Bull

Quite like the red accents but as an overall package I don’t think it’s as attractive as the existing model? Choice can’t be a bad thing though.

I don’t particularly like the chrono model, I think it’s a bit too fussy. I see the Pelagos being quite a bland, simple watch and this has the opposite effect to me

Really nice colorway and surprisingly reasonably priced for a FXD model. Not a fan of carbon composite case but nonetheless good to see Tudor doing some experiment with materials. Nice novelty release.

Maybe someday in the future we will see RLX carbon on the Yacht master 😂

Nice looking watches. I like Red Bull but not totally sure I want it written on the chapter ring. Otherwise these are right up my alley and my favourite case size too. Will have a good long think about these, very interesting.

I assume the movement in the FXD Chrono is the same as the Black Bay chrono?

FXD = Pass. I am with @BadgeHoarder. I prefer bracelets.

Also, I don’t need the Red Bull advert in the rehaut.

Not a fan of Carbon for watches - makes them appear cheap. FXD as a model per se is nothing I fancy either, but it might be a "use case"-focussed watch for the sailing tournament. So I´m fine with that - not a model to break down a hype in the market.

One thing I do like is that it is some kind of forshadowing for a general Chronograph series within the Pelagos line longterm down the line 🙂

Can't wait to time my laps with the chronograph in while snorkeling in my swimming pool!

If you're going to be wet all day racing boats then an ultra light carbon fibre case and fabric strap seem appropriate. Definitely more fitting than most stainless sport watches.

No way I would ever get a red Bull branded watch…

Is it just me, but the upturned red accent on the strap makes the watch look “sad”???! ☹️

They look interesting. But they exhibit the main problem with these type of themed watches, in this case Red Bull. That problem is no indentifying marks on the dial. You buy the watch to show your support of "A" but you only find out what "A" is until you flip the watch over. Nobody, except a watch nerd in the know, would know it's a Red Bull edition from simply looking at the dial. Oris WIlliams F1 watches have the same problem. Of course in this day, does anybody want people to know you like a back marker team? 😂

I like the time only watch the best, the countdown bezel is a great function to have, the case looks amazing with those colors and to be honest i have NO issue with Alinghi RedBull Racing on the chapter ring. I will see when i can get my hands on it and update the WC Family :p

Now that is nice, I like that the date background is black and blends in really well

I think this would have been a fantastic collab IF, and ONLY if they didn't have that text on the rehaut. It really ruins it for me personally. Collab's are fine, heck, the original FXD is a collab, but to put that text in such a prominent location is pretty bad.

If they had made this a black dial/bezel FXD with a carbon case I would be really tempted. The blue, black, and red all mixed together just doesn’t work for me, and losing 20 minutes worth of hash marks for a sports team I don’t follow is a big negative. Still love the MN FXD though and am actively saving for one

See I’m the opposite I love red bull f1 and everything else red bull so this is nice for me!

I own a full fat black dial pelagos and I'm waiting on an FXD.

I'm not sure about these two. I don't think I would want to spend several grand on a watch bearing a sponsor name.

I like the simplicity of the original FXD to be honest.

Interesting materials though and demonstrates Tudor continues to experiment.

I don’t know. As the owner of the original FXD, I don’t see anything all that interesting here. Imo, there’s a lot of other avenues Tudor could’ve explored. Why not chase something along the lines of a Rolex Daytona for instance, or possibly a more affordable Yachtmaster maybe?

The chrono is a pass, but the non-chrono version? If it didn’t have “Red Bull Racing” on the rehaut, I would probably prefer this over the FN version. The colors are fun.

Nope, do t like it at all and for a carbon injected mould, I’m asking myself how long would this thing actually last. P.S - just got the Pelagos FXD form and AD (litirally walked in right as they got the shipment and decided to snag it) but I’m wanting to sell it so if anyone’s interested, lmk
