$5,000 is a weird in-between budget for me. There are a LOT of really great watches below that, but my so-called "grails" are all slightly above that. So, I would probably take the additional $900 out of my own pocket and get myself an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M.
I feel you. Compared to i.e. the Seamaster Diver or the Speedy, the AT is surprisingly underwhelming (and therefore totally overpriced). Also, I don't really like arrow hands in general, so it would be a pass from me anyway.
Not comparable imho. 2 completely different styles of watches, one has been to the moon, the other is probably the most iconic watch of all time. I would take both, because f* the system! 😎😅
Such a missed opportunity. They should've revived their classic "Tissot Quarz" line, or at least the Tissot Quarz LCD (there was also a Quarz LED and a Quarz Analog). The bracelet is identical to the PRX, but the case is square with rounded edges - which looks so much better with digital LCDs!
