The things we've lost...

I was beyond heartbroken when I noticed I've lost my precious Seiko snd419p1 Titanium chronograph at an outdoor pool. It's been 4 years, but seeing ho...

$5,000 is a weird in-between budget for me. There are a LOT of really great watches below that, but my so-called "grails" are all slightly above that. So, I would probably take the additional $900 out of my own pocket and get myself an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M.

Wow, thanks for sharing your pictures! The coolest thing about our watches are the memories we create with them, amirite? 😉

I feel you. Compared to i.e. the Seamaster Diver or the Speedy, the AT is surprisingly underwhelming (and therefore totally overpriced). Also, I don't really like arrow hands in general, so it would be a pass from me anyway.

I'm a yellow gold kind of guy, though I think bronze would also look good on this type of watch.

Not comparable imho. 2 completely different styles of watches, one has been to the moon, the other is probably the most iconic watch of all time. I would take both, because f* the system! 😎😅

commented on I know it is a throwback to 70's design but $375 and $445 for these models? ·

Such a missed opportunity. They should've revived their classic "Tissot Quarz" line, or at least the Tissot Quarz LCD (there was also a Quarz LED and a Quarz Analog). The bracelet is identical to the PRX, but the case is square with rounded edges - which looks so much better with digital LCDs!

I know, this has been discussed a bazillion times over the past years. Still, I've noticed a significant increase in the typical "homage bad"-snobbery lately, so I've figured I'll just let the communi...

How's the movement of the Citizen Tsuyosa (NJ0150)?

I'm thinking of buying a Citizen Tsuyosa, since I really like the style of the integrated bracelet and it's a very cheap alternative to the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80. One thing that's holding me back h...
