My new Seamaster!
Just received this new to me Seamaster 300M Professional, Ref. 2551.80, made in 1999. This thing is a beauty! I happened to get a great deal on a great piece. This is my first foray into “expensive” watches, and I couldn’t be happier.

I’m sure that can be fixed? Will probably cost a few bucks, but I’d be surprised if Omega couldn’t fix it for you.

Wear it in good health. I've loved owning mine. Will be for sale soon, as I downsize in general. But it's a fabulous, fabulous watch. Mine is actually a '99, too.

This is a nice watch. To me Omega watches of the 90s and early 20s were some of their most recognizable watches. I don't mind adding this quartz model in my collection. Did you send it for servicing prior to buying it? Wear it proudly!

Must be the 36mm version.. easiest tell is that the date window goes all the way to the edge of the dial. If the date window has a bit of lume to right of it, then it’s the larger watch (41mm?) or the quartz.
This watch got me into collecting. Was my first. Never leaving the collection. Enjoy it!
Nice! You can get so much watch for the money if you go midsize. Btw there’s a green limited addition that is 🔥 Most of the lume is patina’ed at this point and they look awesome 🤫
