So my dad has finally completed his "luxury watch box". He recently added the GS SBPG017G and it's a stunning piece. And at this rate I won't need to buy any watches myself I can just pinch his 😜

Wow, what a great collection. I think you and your brother need to invest in getting your Dad a (much) bigger watch box so your Dad can continue to enjoy the hobby (just in case he is serious about stopping now that his box is full). Think of it as an investment in your future collection.
