My watch collection so far!

Been here for about half a year now so I think it’s time to share my smaller collection! I have 6,25 inch wrist and like watches on the smaller side.

  • Casio A168WEM 36mm (My first non fashion brand watch)

  • Omega Constellation 196.0071 (1977) 36mm

  • Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer 38mm

  • Seiko SNXS73 37mm

  • Orient Maestro green dial 40mm

Im really happy with the ones I have, but to ”complete” my six watch collection I would like either a smaller diver or a smaller chrono. Certina Action Diver 38, Glycine Combat Sub 39, Seiko Speedtimer panda 39 and Sea-Gull 1963 38 are possible candidates. In the long run, as I find the Maestro a bit hard to match with my clothes, maybe I will swap that one out.

What do you think? Do you have any other recommendations on a diver/chrono under the 1000$ mark around 38-39mm? What would you go for as the sixth watch?

Have a great week crunchers!

Looking good. Nice group you have there.

·

Pretty. Love the Omega.

The speedtimer is an amazing watch. If you get a chance to try it in in person I'm sure you'd but it right away.

Is the Orient a daily watch or more of a dress watch? I can't tell from the pictures. But for a smaller diver check out Baltic, Lorier, or the new Seiko 5 38mm divers. Good luck on your hunt

·

Nice collection, my friend. Pity the Tuseno Shellback seems to be out of stock, else I would have recommended you to buy one of those.

For mainstream divers, I'd say go for the Certina divers. Or one of the Mido Ocean Star Tribute.

Gorgeous Omega!

I personally think the Seagull is a good value for money. I have a white dial panda version with the sapphire crystal and the swan neck regulator. All for around $300.

I hope you find the right watch for you! Cheers 🥂

Looking good. I can't come up with any suggestions in the <40mm segment since my wrist is 19,5 cm. Hilsen fra København

·

Great collection, and I agree with @RobfrWI about looking at Baltic, Lorier or the Seiko 5 divers to add.

·

Khaki looks so cool!

·

Nice collection,

I have 6,3 inch wrist. I have a orient diver. I like this one a lot. Wears very comfy 😊

That Omega is an absolute beauty. I love me a dress watch, but never think they suit me.

·

I love that Hamilton.

These Maen Divers have been getting great reviews.

Me too! Best bang for your buck of any mechanical chrono on the planet.

There isn't even an argument against this.

Thanks for your comment!

It’s more of a daily wear watch, but I find my self using the other ones more as I think the colorful dial mostly suits black & white clothing in my mind.

Been having a look at the Lorier and Baltic retro divers, both are absolutely worth considering!

Actually tried the new seiko five 38-diver on wrist a couple days ago but I think it wore more like a 36-37 would possibley because of the short lug-to-lug, in other words a bit too small unfortunately. Good looking piece otherwise

Beautiful collection! I would be thrilled to have any one of these. Under $1000, I really like Traska, Lorier, RZE, and Baltic for dive watches (preference probably to Traska Freedover if I were going to have 1 dive watch). You are really spoiled for choice here and for most brands they will be built well so it will come down to what you like.

Chronographs are interesting here. I get scared of mechanical chronographs like Seagulls for reliability but I know many people who have had great experiences. I’m a big quartz chronograph fan in this price range and for myself, I might check out the Seiko Speedtimers first.

Good luck!

Good job. I particularly like the Omega and your Seiko5.

Thanks Per!

·

Nice selection here my friend! The Glycine 39 would be great! A proper sorts watch! Other than the Casio obviously!

·

The vintage Omega is lovely. You have a great collection. IMO, you shouldn't think of your collection as "complete" ever. Maybe temporarily on hold...

·

Wow, love it! Congrats, Gustaf!

·

Love the watches you’ve collected so far and love your “hit list”! I have the Seagull 1963 and love it! If you want a smaller diver that’s super cheap and beloved by many in the community, check out the Vostok Amphibian (Teddy does a video on the one I have). It’s a fun super cheap ($100) piece.

Thank you!

I’ve looked briefly on Vostok watches, but the designs that appealed to me was eiter out of stock or inflated prices possibly because of the exposure on youtube and such. But they look cool, will have my eyes open for som reasonable prices 🤘

What a fantastic collection! That Omega is stunning

·

My favourite one has to be the Orient green dial, such a peculiar and bold choice! Congrats, beautiful collection 😁

·

One diver worth considering is the ADPT series 1 models, they are very colorful and playful and make a perfect watch to wear on the beach where in intended to!

·

out of your shortlist, Seiko speedtimer would add the most diversity into your collection

Yeah I’ve signed up on a get notified list for the new 39,9mm diver from Orient so will probably buy this one if it doesn’t get too delayed 🤘 I think the older kamasu/mako is a liiittle bit to big for my taste. The new seiko 5 38mm diver I on the other hand think is to small so I am kind of picky
