What Oris Rectangular would you choose?

I’ve been longing for a rectangular watch for a long time and have been eyeing these Oris watches. I want a mechanical or automatic rectangular watch in this sizing (about 25mm, strap 19mm) and like the dial style of these ones. I’ve also looked at the Longines Dolcevita, but I believe their automatic options are too bulky. Purchasing a Cartier Tank from Chrono24 is also an option, but if you want an automatic version in this sizing the prices go way up.

This is the strap I would initially pair the white Oris with, the puke colored stock strap is horrible IMO

You can go either way imo. The white is maybe more classic. There is also a red, or wine maybe, version that @Chunghauphoto is wearing. I think that looks the part as well. Here is a WRUW I stole from him without permission.

Thanks Per.

I will just add that the ‘black’ dial has more than a hint of green/olive to it. IMO this makes it a lot more versatile when it comes to wearing situations and strap options.

However @YourIntruder is correct that ‘white’ is more ‘classic’. If I could choose another one, this is probably what I would go with (although not on the yellow strap).

You should try both to decide which is more versatile for you.

I have JLC Reverso Classic Duoface, with one face in silver and the other in black. I find silver face much easier to dress up or down, from suit and tie to jeans and sweater, than the black face.

The red one is definitely a contender! Especially on that strap.

Great one @Chunghauphoto 🙌

I agree, the white dial is probably more versatile and classic, I think I’ll go for that one if i choose one of them.

Good to know that the “black” isn’t entirely black, thanks for the input!

Thanks for your reply and input! Will try to find them in person.
