NATO Strap question for everyone

I have several watches with NATO straps. My question is do you swap out the straps frequently, when it suits your mood, or is it a one and done. I don't swap them out until they need to be replaced, but friends swap them to match their outfits. Let's hear what the masses have to say!

Yeah, I swap them out constantly during summer on a few different divers and a flieger, often based on clothes but not always. I throw them in the rotation in winter here and there but now it's more leather and bracelets.

·

I swap them out quite a bit. Not to match whatever color I'm wearing that day, but at least to match base color of the strap with the color of my shoe & belt leather for the day. I'm still old-school about that and do think it really makes a difference in your overall "look." Also I swap out plainer straps with stripes/multiple colors depending on if I am at work or out for recreation or heading to the gym. They're so affordable and can give a watch such a different look in a matter of seconds, so have fun with them. 👍

Almost every day 😂.

Sometimes a more versatile will stay on for several wearings, sometimes I change the thing twice before leaving in the morning.

Often happens with my whole outfit. At least once a month I'll be ready to go out with my wife. I'll walk into the living room, she'll look at me, arch her eyebrows and say "are you wearing that?" Then I turn right around, mumble "evidently not," and trudge back to my closet. 😂😜

My bigger watches bobble about on NATOs so it's just this little number. It gets fitted with grey NATO, black NATO or jubilee-type bracelet in roughly equal measure. But I only swap them out every month or two. And definitely not to match my outfit.

I'd like to say I'm Boho chic. But actually I'm just a bit slovenly.

·

Depends, can be several changes on one watch in a day, or sometimes leave the same on for yonks... 🤔

·

I swap them out according to outfit or mood.

·

I only wear NATO.

I switch to bracelets during the really cold weather.

So I'd say 10 months NATO user.

On every watch.

I swap them according to mood and outfit.

And I love it.

As of right now I leave the straps on the same watches and wear different watches depending on what I’m doing. BUT if I hang out here much longer I will probably have more straps and watches and I will really be confused!!!!

·

I swap out all my straps quite frequently. NATO or otherwise.

·

I swap almost every day, but for sure to match or at least complement my outfit colors for the day. Also for the season, to some extent.. I bought an orange one I wore on Halloween and Thanksgiving and I got a couple red ones for the Christmas season, one of which says HO HO HO on it for Christmas day. It's fun and makes me happy! :-) It's also a way cheaper way to color coordinate with a single or fewer GADA dailies.

I think that I'm heading down the same path as you😄

·

I swap when the watch feels old. When I find myself not wearing it because it's the same old thing.

Natos or parachutes most of the time but I always switch up watch or straps depending on what Im wearing. Ive noticed I'm moving back to bracelets in the winter 🤔

·

One and done for me 👍

·

I swap them as my mood fancies. Although that said, I do tend to keep certain straps on certain watches the majority of the time.

On another note, I would dearly love to find out who the OEM is for the nylons that Momentum watches use.

·

With some of my favorite pieces I’ll almost change them 3 times a week!

Ha! I can see that happening to me! I’ve been spending a lot of time perusing watch strap sites and imagining how they would look! But I suppose getting different straps is half the fun! We’ll see how it turns out for me!! Although, I’m looking at a Baltany watch for NEXT YEAR’S purchase and I’m already thinking of a strap I want to put on it! So, probably no hope for me!!

Come on in the kool aid is very tasty!!

·

I swap them. I prefer Marine Nationale straps but they are a bigger pain to change.

·

I swap them to match outfits quite often.

·

Swapped out often.

Sometimes I just do it as a way to stop myself buying a whole new watch 🤣 Don't do it every day though for sure, more like seasonal or whenever I feel inspired to try a new combo

·

I swap between natos, mesh and bracelet as the mood hits me.
