Which one would you guys choose?

I was curious to see what you folks would choose out of these options

In my case I got the Ranger because I needed several characteristics. I wanted it to have central seconds as is easier to read than small seconds specially with aging eyes like mine.

I prefer a movement with increased anti magnetism properties. The downside is that the movement of the Tudor is more expensive to service but then again, one must find a balance.

Also de Tudor has an on the fly adjustable clasp. Don't know about the Vaer which is tempting, but here it goes.

Also the Ranger has a screw down crown that gives some peace of mind. The Hamilton is not the most popular watch when it comes to talk about water resistance. Actually the first watch I got was the 42mm Hamilton Khaki Field automatic of the picture, with the displaced hour number at the window date (I think the 38mm looks better).

The Ranger does not have a date. I don't like dates. I like symmetrical very legible dials. The Ranger is so.

The Ranger has the greatest legibility in any condition and is all brushed which is good for a tool adventure watch.

Looks great with different 20mm straps.

The 42mm Hamilton moves the 24 hour marker 14 too much to the center because of the date. The 38mm is a more symmetrical option in my opinion. It's a very nice looking versatile watch but maybe a more dressier one.

I am picking 1 vs 3, as I don't need more than 1 field watch. Haha

·

None. The Tudor is top notch, but I don't like the dial.

Khaki Automatic has a date and a great movement, but I don't like the dial.

The Cooper is too big and too busy.

And the Vaer is nice, but not my style.

Secret option C: none of the above, I'd find something i liked the design of better

·

Tudor

·

I went with the Tudor and it’s my most worn watch. I highly recommend it.

Ranger. It's fantastic on the wrist. A really good watch imo.

Out of all the options, I'd say this isn't a bad idea either. 👌🏻

·

Ranger, awesome watch

·

Quality over quantity everytime.

Doesn't even register as a question tbh 😉👍🏻

·

Try and find a last gen Ranger on its bund strap - such a cool watch, wish I'd have kept mine TBH!!!

That Hamilton khaki pilot is a tremendous watch for the money. That’s how I’d go.

I've always loved it myself

·

That Tudor to me has alot of dead space on the dial. Again just my opinion. I have always been in love with he Hamilton Cooper watch, just too big for my wrist unfortunately.

·

Ranger all day long my friend

·

Sometimes, less is more. And that's why Tudor Ranger is the coolest one out of them all imho

Yes, the 556A is an excellent wallet-friendly(er) alternative to the Ranger! I'm biased since I'm wearing my 556A RS as I type this and have loved it the 22 months and counting I've had it. The current Ranger actually came out a little after I got my Sinn, and I immediately liked it but knew it was too similar. Had it been available in Feb 2022 when I ordered by Sinn, it would have been a much tougher choice for sure.

That said, the Ranger is definitely my pick here.

I like the look of the Vaer a lot. And I want to love the Hamiltons, but I can't quite get there. Here's why: I really dislike day-date complications (only exception is the Sinn 105 UTC), and my least favourite version of it is the one on the Hamilton in the top right, where the day of the week is like a hat on the dial. No offense to fans, but it's definitely not for me. I like the Khaki field a lot (and a family member in my household has one, and I always admire it when he's wearing it), but the missing/lackluster AR coating is basically a deal-breaker for me.

The three for sure. And #vaer is coming out with a on the fly micro adjust very soon.
