Design is always a primary consideration. With the more expensive stuff you pay for better materials, finishing, and of course the name. You do get a little more with the more expensive higher shelf brands but both tell time and both can look great on the wrist.

Any collection is valid. After all it's a sum of your choices those that tell you what to buy and what to wear spend way too much time following the herd chasing the next hype beast. As they normally have zero imagination or interest in horology it's all about the Flex one upmanship and showing off.

I agree, I own both Pagani & Casio as well as Breitling and Rolex. No one is looking at your watch wear what makes you happy.

I’ve never had a bad invicta. Aside from the sales tactics they use I don’t see anything wrong with them. The watches they sell with those “discounts “ punch way above their weight.

I feel you 💯 and you know not for nothing maybe it would be my appropriate tool where the watch in reverse but I rather wear my watch when I feel like it and would bring me happiness so I would do the same exact thing. More power to you my friend

Agreed! I don't own any luxury brands yet, but I do own a super rare and almost entirely original Nivada Antarctic. I wear it back to back with this LCD watch I found in a bag that was headed for the dustbin.

It's about passion. One has many multitudes of moving parts. One doesn't. One explored the Antarctic. One explored the junk drawer. One needs just a spring to run. One needs a battery.

But both have a story to tell, which is why I have a watch on the wrist in the first place.
