It’s funny that many watch people will give G-Shocks their due but can’t do the same with smart watches which objectively outperform automatics in nearly every way. I’d even argue that the smart watch is the tool watch of the information age. Acknowledging this doesn’t take away from the feeling I get wearing a well designed precision mechanical device on my wrist.
The California dial with Romans on top and Arabics on the bottom is unique, but this dial with odds on the right and evens on the left takes the prize for quirkiness. I like it.
Do you test in multiple positions (example: dial up, 9 o’clock up, and 6 o’clock up)? Do you check amplitude and bear error even if you don’t tweak them?
Looks good! It seems to me that one can get away with a much larger diameter flieger B than one would normally be able to with other watch types. Partly, fliegers are just supposed to be big. Partly, the inner hours on the B dial break it up.
